The Works Applications Group is committed to helping its clients improve return on their IT investment by providing ERP software packages and related services.
Our future business development will be driven by the following four-pronged medium-term strategies:
1. Diversification and expansion of product line-up
2. Expansion of scope of services offered by the Group
3. Expansion of customer base
4. Overseas business development – beyond Japan to overseas markets
Of the above four strategies, priority will be given to the first and the second strategies, namely diversification and expansion of product line-up and expansion of scope of services, in order to secure focused application of management resources.
The third and fourth strategies will be mainly based on an inorganic approach through investment in, M&A of, or business tie-up with companies that have promising products or services in new areas.

1st Strategy: Diversification and expansion of product line-up
In addition to "COMPANY® Personnel & Payroll", the Company’s main product, in 2005 the Company started sales of “COMPANY® Accounting” series of products. Going forward, the Company will expand its product line-up and service coverage to further contribute to efficient IT investment by its customers.

2nd Strategy: Expansion of scope of the services offered by the Group
The Company will provide various peripheral services related to the “COMPANY®” series of products. Specifically, the Company will expand its service menu to include “upstream services” such as strategic consulting, and “downstream” services such as education, system integration, system administration, and operations outsourcing.

3rd Strategy: Expansion of customer base
In addition to the “COMPANY®” series that are targeted at large corporate users, the Company will offer products and services through the “MONEY®” series of products for small- and medium-sized corporations. The “MONEY®” series is marketed by Works Products Co., Ltd. (formerly System Engineering Center Co., Ltd.) a subsidiary which joined the Works Applications Grou

4th Strategy: Overseas business development – beyond Japan to overseas markets
Through Works Info Application Service Co., Ltd., a subsidiary established in China in August 2004, the Company will be develop and launch the “COMPANY®” series of products localized for the Chinese market. From 2005, the subsidiary started shipments of the Chinese version of "COMPANY® Personnel & Payroll" (HR series). Starting with China, the Company eyes expansion into Asia and beyond, eventually into the U.S. and European markets.
